Kisha (Love Offering)
In the Shinri Association, kisha (喜捨) is the financial offering or formal expression of gratitude made when requesting an Osatoshi session. The term comes from two Japanese kanji: 喜 (ki), meaning joy or happiness, and 捨 (sha), meaning to donate, abandon, or discard. Together, kisha translates to “donating or giving with a joyful heart.” Kisha is a virtue-building gesture of gratitude directed to God for providing salvation to perturbing spirits.
