Sensei Masao Utsumi

Masao Utsumi founded the Shinri Association for the Study of Truth in Japan on October 15, 2006.

According to Sensei Utsumi, this Association was planned three thousand years ago by God the Creator to fulfill God's Plan on the face of the Earth.

The Association's headquarters is in Maebashi, Gunma Prefecture, Japan.

As the name implies, the Association studies and researches the truths of the universe—specifically, the Laws that govern the universe, or God's Laws. When we live in accordance with these laws, we can live happily in both the physical and spiritual worlds.

According to Sensei Utsumi, the Truth of the Universe is the supreme expression of the desire for all human beings to be completely happy; therefore, the Association researches ways to attain this state.

Believing that almost all health, financial, and interpersonal relationship problems stem from attacks by spirits—whether vengeful or not—the Sensei dedicated himself to finding a way to eliminate these attacks.

Through study and experimentation, Sensei Utsumi developed new ways to save spirits and discovered a unique method for sending spirits directly to Heaven. On October 16, 2006, he began Shinri (Truth) study classes; his research continued and his method evolved significantly, eventually leading to methods for saving gods—something no one had previously known how to do.

All of the Association's methods of salvation are referred to as Osatoshi (guidance).

Based on messages received and the Osatoshi performed during study classes, it was confirmed that the spiritual world consists of the astral world (where human souls go after death) and the divine world (where gods dwell). The astral world is divided into Heaven, an intermediate layer, and Hell. The spirits that disturb human beings are those residing in Hell. Furthermore, the Sensei discovered the existence of human beings possessing the souls of gods—known as bunkons (split souls) or, in the West, as Indigo souls. These bunkons are particularly vulnerable to attacks by vengeful gods and human spirits.

These discoveries made it possible to help many people—whether bunkons or not—in situations where, until then, no viable solution for salvation had existed.

The salvation of the gods took place across all study groups starting in 2008; this bridged the void between Heaven and the Divine World, resulting in the union of the Astral World with the Divine World.

December 21, 2012, was the final day of the Mayan calendar, marking the moment the world of human spirits merged with the Divine World. In other words, spirits residing in Heaven can now ascend to the Divine World—a possibility that did not exist previously. This will lead to the true divinization of human beings.

Thus, in the future, only people with the souls of gods will inhabit the Earth. It will be an earthly paradise. In addition to the gods of Earth, some extraterrestrial gods arrive here and can cause problems for human beings. The Sensei created Osatoshi salvation methods for them as well.

He also discovered that many problems stemmed from “transference of karma”—a previously unknown phenomenon—and identified ways to prevent it. Karma transfer occurs when, in attempting to help someone, we bring serious problems upon ourselves through that very act of saving or assisting them. This discovery enabled all of us—professionals and volunteers alike—to protect ourselves when extending a helping hand to those in need. At the same time, Sensei Utsumi developed a gratitude-based technique known as the “Method for Building a Family Full of Happiness”, the practice of which enables us to achieve incredible results. He also introduced various other practices for inner self-improvement, as well as insights regarding the spiritual and divine realms—all of which are detailed in our study guide.

Another unique practice developed by the Sensei is the “Ball of Light.” This is a sphere of energy into which we channel our wishes and prayers before directing it toward ourselves or others. Because we receive this ball directly from the Creator God, it is exceptionally powerful and effective; beyond healing the body and soul, it strengthens the spirit, energizes the recipient, removes impurities from food (while simultaneously enhancing its flavor), calms the mind, and balances the chakras, among countless other benefits.
